Some of you asked about the map of africa on our fridge. I put it up because i have a plan: I need to know a little more about africa! just a little bit! So many countries and i could place only a few on a map or tell you anything about their history. So i plan to go through every country in the continent and learn just a little bit about each.

▶ everyone: :)

I am the same. I can only place a few countries, and I would love to know more. My dad has a map of the world shower curtain, so if I'm using his bathroom, I give myself a little geography lesson at the same time!! He he!

That is such a great idea! I have some tables of the Japanese characters pinned up to try and get them into my head.

Also I am glad my post on Copenhagen was ok :) Phew! I enjoyed visiting the city very much even though we were only there for such a short time. We hope to visit again sometime.

I must do this. I played one of those games on facebook where you are supposed to locate given countries and cities on a map...africa is where I failed.

I really like that, one time I got in an awkward situation because I didn't know where maraquesh was. could've saved myself from some embarrassment if I'd had an africa on my refrigerator.

i did this with capital cities from around the world once: was trying to prepare myself for pub quizzes...
