hello sun!

after lots and lots of snow snow snow the sun has come out! i feel like i haven't seen it for a year. (i have updated and finished the oh. project)

weather

the weather is changing so i need to post my snow photos before its too late. for a while there you could almost walk to Sweden (a fact that brings up bad memories for us danes). It might just be wishful thinking that spring is on its way, but im willing to live the dream a bit.

▶ Kempt: yeah, everything that is good for you should come in the shape of a brownie!
▶ Adeline: yes you are right -i didn't know the ones from Vitra
▶ Trula: I would really like to own some of those blocks as well!
▶ Ai: we just bought new pacifiers for Elinor and they were called moshi moshi kawaii -they are very kawaii indeed!
▶ Brit: you should -you really don't taste the beans they just give them a nice spongy texture
▶ Sopchan: what else could you say!
▶ Mieke Willem: im pondering a coffee-scheme! if i just sell 4 cups to my friends i could make a business out of it :)
▶ Lisen: yes, its a pity they are all sold out! i wanted to make some my self! or maybe put my dad on the job!
▶ Emma: Oh, those are the ones from Vitra. they are very similar. these are just a bit more.. modern maybe.

purple snow

it is still very much so winter in this part of the world and we have all caught a cold.

▶ Celine: a little silly but it makes such a difference to be able to freeze stuff! bread, cake, lasagna, blueberries.
▶ Ol: thank you -its not as big a step when you all ready have the kid :)
▶ Marie: we live on really high up in the building and the washer is in the basement.... next project!

beat

beetroot-juice and sunshine on the cemetery. Today everything is plain grey, good thing there is always something beautiful to look at on line. I don't have as much time for discovering new things anymore and I feel like i need something fresh. Luckily i have all of your blogs and all of your links, so i just need time. Here is what i put in the juice: three apples, ginger, six carrots and two big beetroots! Happy sunday!

jellyfish

these are some cool red jellyfish me and rufus saw at the beach. i love how fuzzy they look. Its getting really cold here. im curling up in bed with candy and candles.

▶ Famapa: Ha ha -sorry no baby news :) i remember when my sister was pregnant last year, i would have her send me a text-message before calling otherwise i would just think she had given birth! The baby will probably wait a couple of weeks, but really you never know! it could be today or it could be even longer.

mafia

a bit more city-nature from another place along the way to the vet. We just got the last part of the sopranos final season on dvd, so the rest of the evening is going to be mafia.

▶Sandra: Thanks -and yeah, rufus was really disappointed. I was like: "couldn't you just be happy for her? i mean you live very far apart" but he just sulked in his cave.
▶ Epe: You are so right! i have to get my photographing-act together!
▶ sylvesterandmama: thanks! i haven't finished it yet...
▶ Little Nutbrown Hare: Neither did i :) but if my dad uses one i trust that it is important! i just made some bread that turned out great and im sure its all because of the stick :)
▶ Emma: I love that there are so many different flowers there. in the middle of a really boring neighbourhood!
▶ Fine Little Day: Thank you so much!
▶ Lisen: Sometimes when its really hot and rufus is home alone i get all nervous even though the window is open and he has plenty of water. Actually he hardly drinks or eats anything when he is alone -its as if he forgets! and then when we come home he is so thirsty :) When we talked about moving to sweden we also found out that even if we just brought Rufus from sweden to denmark for a short visit he would have to get all sorts of things. so difficult -but i guess Sweden has a lot less sick dogs. I hate ticks though! thats the only good thing about the fact that we can't take rufus to a forest very often. bla bla bla :)

smudged nature

I have been such a bad photographer lately, forgetting to bring my camera or forgetting to use it. When i took Rufus to the vet i finally brought my little digicam and took some photos of the city-nature along the way. What i had not noticed was a gigantic smudge on the lens which made for an interesting result. I decided to try and make it into a style and cranked up the contrast on the photos. Rain and thunder just hit copenhagen. Im not ready for summer to end.

▶ Lina: This was a strawberry and peach smoothie. My favourite right now is one with raspberries, apple-juice, banana, yoghurt and ginger (the last four things i almost always use)
▶ Kristina and Julia: Yes, Rufus is very very very happy to have him back -he almost missed D more than me.
▶ Steph.: Can babies suffer from colour-overload? i hope not :)
▶ Emma: I love the way rufus is lying so relaxed and safe
▶ Lisen: Thank you for the luck! -good luck with stinas vaccinations :) did you know that if Rufus had to visit stina he would have to get several shots six months in advance before going to sweden?? you swedes are crazy sometimes :)

slow

Im soooo slow. I can't seem to finish the first film on my olympus om10. I guess i think to much about what i shoot and i really shouldn't cause i don't even know if it works at all!

▶ Lisen: I actually do not know what to call it in danish but i think i get it! i think filifjonka is an international word!
▶ Lina: its a really nice chair!
▶ .girl ferment.: i think koalas are the most adorable animal and koala-cookies are the most adorable cookie!

rrrrrrufus

Somehow i often end up doing photo-sessions with Rufus on our bed. Its one of his favorite places to hang out and when i come around with the camera, he gladly strike different poses. i can't count how many times i wish i could, like rufus, lie in the sunny spot on our bed all day. ahhh.. to be a carefree dog!

Among the photos on my old mobile phone where a whole bunch of pictures i have taken of magazines. its so funny to see these little pictures take out of their context and mixed together. im a busy busy bee, but even if i don't find time to comment as much as i would like on all your blogs -im still reading!!

▶ Emma: Burrr.. today started out sunny and just as i had to go out it went cold and grey and windy!
▶ Júlía; Hope its good snow! snow can still be nice, but its about time for it to disappear i think!
▶ Sasha: Yeah, i saw that you got a lot of snow the ohterday! burrrr... I use the kettle in the picture for boiling water but im not sure what its called. I know its kind of fancy and that my parents got it as a wedding present a long long time ago.

stuff happens

My computer had to go to the repair-guy and im not sure when i get it back (okay, its probably within a week, but it feels like such a looong time). The good thing is it might give me time to go out and take some pictures all ready. it feels like i haven't done that in ages!

▶ Lisen: I love it when romance creeps up on you like that
▶ BB: yeah its good for those days when you are miserable and want the rest of the world to be :) -and you are right! it can't be topped for valentines. instead, this saturday will just be Rufus' Birthday and nothing else.

I found these beautiful pieces heart-shaped nature over at black eiffel! just what you need on a grey day like today. Actually it just started snowing a little bit. On the one hand I'm happy to finally get a little snow - on the other I was looking so much forward to spring, that I almost thought it would come now!

pictures

Here are some more photos from my old mobile phone. I'm liking these so much that I'm thinking of getting the old phone out again as a camera, since it is only the phone-function that does not work. I will soon show you another addition to my camera collection. Today I was lucky enough to look after Ivan my little nephew -who is the cutest kid ever -for a little while -and see my sister! Yesterday I did an erase and install of my computer in order to find out if the weird noise it has been making is software or hardware related. Tomorrow my warranty runs out and if it makes another weird noise i will turn it in. Thank god for timemachine!
