Stine B Tranekjær

I have not yet shown you this new, fantastic, wonderful and perfect addition to our walls!! Two huge posters by the sweet danish artist Stine B Tranekjær with the wonderful slogans "never close your heart" and " A heart that loves is always young". We totally fell in love with them and they were a perfect match to the money we had gotten as wedding presents. They make me so happy every time i see them!

> Hanna: Hear, hear!

Monday

is that plastic?

i want me one of these! yoyo ceramics -found at the function key

Olafur Lego Eliasson

Ivan and i also stopped by Olafur Eliassons installation for U-Turn: A bunch of white Lego's spread out on tables that resemble the structure of copenhagen inner city -encouraging people to create their own vision of copenhagen! 3 weeks old was a bit too young to participate but it was a beautiful mess! (notice the sign in the background that says: Replace fear of the unknown with curiosity :) )

> Emma: Yeah he is likely to turn in to a very cultural young man
> DFM: Thank you so much for the link :)
> Pom: WOO HOOO
> Joanne: So glad you like it! i have been using it for a while and its SO nice to have a good looking browser to match the good looking content!
> Lisen: No you haven't told me! so funny that you like it -i like swedish very much! its got so much melody! im not that good at it though cause i usually speak danish when in malmö -funny that im writing this in english! the language of the internet!
> Lea: Cool that you like it -your trip looks so good!
> Girl ferment: yeah me too! there is a really good shark one on the website!

Sunday

ivan the tourist

saturday i spend an hour looking after this beautiful little guy - my nephew! my sister and her little family were in copenhagen for a wedding but sadly had to go back home the same day -so i only got to look after Ivan for an hour during the wedding at copenhagen city hall. We used our time together being tourists around tivoli, the statue of H. C. Andersen and city hall -the fantastic fountain is Bjørnespringvandet in the city hall garden -its some sort of crazy bear/monkey who eagerly drinks the water with his big tongue hanging out and i really i love it!

look what i found...

i have started getting hooked on tumblr... i never really understood what it was about, but i love the idea of introducing you all to the photos i find on my way -some i may blog about, but there are so many great and inspiring and funny photos out there and for example if you stop by my tumblr you might notice that i like funny animal photos :) so the link "look what i found" now links to my new tumblr site. you might also notice the great looking firefox design in the picture above -its called full flat and it makes your browser look good. ...and now that we are talking browsers; i just wanted to mention that i have made blog design with firefox/safari in mind -i know that some of you are visiting through internet explorer, and i just hope that the design differences are not too annoying :)

birds and dolphins

did you see these fantastic photographs over at design for mankind the other day? its so easy to be fascinated by animal-suits! they are by Jamie Campbell and i don't know if his style is maybe is a little too polished or staged for my taste, but there are some pretty good portraits in the portfolio too!

> Sandra: HA HA -so funny that you know that song!! it took me a minute to recognise it! perfect for the moment -rufus is floating on a cloud!
> Girl ferment: thank you so much for your three sweet comments!

Saturday

Ruf-man

just one more little picture of Ruf-man in action.. happy weekend all!

> Julia: Yeah i think there is -i have to put down some time looking through them all!
> Mieke Willems: Yeah i think the classical masters are great as inspiration for contemporary work!
> Joanne: I like your description very much! interior spaces can definitely ruin art as well!
> Brita: Oh thank you so much! never too late for such a nice comment! -and nothing better than new commentors!
> Bifurkation: Thank you so much for your sweet comment and for visiting! Im so glad you like it here! and i will look out for those artists!
> Sandra: Rufus brags all the time that he has an internet girlfriend in sweden! he is getting to be quite full of him self! thinking he has superpowers and stuff...

> Joanne: YEs, im afraid!
> Lisen: Thats such a funny memory! i really wonder why you said no... were you trying to be grown up? or polite? or just so sad that not even a new ice cream would help? its the worst when you and your sibling get an ice cream and then you drop yours and have to watch the other eat theirs!
> Kathrine NY: tak!

> Maria: So nice that you thought of me :)
> Ashley: Yeah it would be nice to have doodling possibilities hanging around your neck :)
