Got home from Berlin yesterday - it was the perfect winter vacation! Just what i needed: Hanging out with good friends, eating delicious food and warming up on coffee and beer :) Elinor stayed home with some of our friends and it was so nice to miss her. it seems as if she has had a really good time as well! im gonna show you pictures from berlin over the next few days while i get busy with christmas.

Another amazing poster i recently got is this Freddy Mecury version of Sammy Rose's Carl! I Love Queen -perfect for cleaning don't you think?- and im so happy to have my own Carl (and of course i love tv -perfect Jenny!)

I won a give away! Over at My friend Rasmus! and yesterday this amazing poster arrived! I had such a hard time deciding which of the three prints i like the best -actually i still don't know, but i really really love this one! this is what the world looks like when you reach that light at the end of the tunnel and turn in your exam project! (bright, icy and a bit messy) 36pp paper + website prototype! Oh what a good feeling! For the first time in years i sat up nights working to finish this project! Super hard but also sort of nice to get so immersed in a project. now: vacation!

Wall VI

Its been a while since i showed you something from our kitchen wall: This is D's paternal grandparents. I love these two photos. D looks almost exactly like his grandfather and in personalties we actually resemble them both a lot: Its the women that does the talking :)

oh hollywood

Yesterday i sort of showed you what im working on, so today im gonna show you what i did to get out of work: Sandra of the superfine blog Classic Copenhagen tweeted a link to Hollywood moments lost and i fell into dreamland watching these old behind the scenes moments (first Hepburn last Newman). Okay so the middle one doesn't fit in. But The Outsiders never will (Ponyboy is still my secret nickname for Elinor)

Finally i wanted to note that i actually updated the new ideas blog + that im finally starting to take to Twitter -so follow me if you are there too -sometimes in english, sometimes in danish.

what im working on

i don't have any time for taking pictures these days + the day light disappears so quickly. So instead i'll show you these blurry images of what im working on for one of my exams.

▶ Francivusk: i know, i almost aw'ed myself out going through all the photos of him
▶ milk tooth's rain: that must be so hard! but nice that you know he is a good place
▶ la_sale_bete: exactly -he is such a part of our daily routine! -for example, nobody eats the left overs that elinor drops on the floor :)
▶ Siri: no he actually didn't -though he has misjudged some jumps in his time, he is usually very lucky. The funniest thing is when he falls of the bed or sofa in his sleep
▶ Ida Rud: Det er også virkelig rart at savne ham. Det glemmer man jo når han er der
▶ Chrristine: just do a google picture search on dogs or puppies when ever you need a pick-me-up
▶ Emily: Jeg tænkte godt over at det næsten virkede som et sørge-indlæg da jeg skrev det, men heldigvis er han bare i århus! Og det er fint med amager am see! bare lav et indlæg så snart du får lyst

oh rufus

Something is missing in our little home. The sweetest dog of all have gone on vacation and we won't see him for two weeks! He is staying with D's sister until we go home for christmas and I think they are both enjoying it a lot, but we are missing him A LOT (maybe the two others in this home even more than me). So i went a little crazy in the Rufus archives - and now i won't be able to look at my blog without chocking up.

life

im working hard on exams this time of year. They are semi-interesting, but there is always something else i would rather do -like blog! and read blogs!

1+2: its snowing in copenhagen 3: we have found a local source of the cute but not very tasty koala cookies! how sweet is the koala drinking cappuccino... 4: i make pizza at least once a week ...is that wrong? (i have been testing a new dough: with rye and sour dough! its good!!)

sailor surprise

Today we had the best December 1st surprise ever!! A sailor mysteriously appeared on our door step asking if he could crash at our place. He is more than welcome -i had already put Johan's concrete sailor on my wish list, but i don't know how he could have known :) Making this surprise even better is the coincident that this little sailor arrived on the same day as another sailor friend of ours returned after months on the sea (Velkommen hjem Kenneth!) TAK TAK TAK Sandra og Johan! -fra os alle fire!
