Sunday we went to Louisiana museum of modern art, D, my parents and I. There is a wonderful, huge exhibition with Per Kirkeby, a Danish artist i really admire and a Manga exhibition as well. Further more the museum is situated at the most beautiful spot right on Øresund with a view to Sweden. It has been some very beautiful fall days! the weather and the company. October at its best! theatrical saturday
wonderful things I: Saturday we went with my parents to the new theatre-house in copenhagen, an amazingly beautiful building, and saw the brilliant play Darwins Testamente (Darwins will) by Jokum Rohde. When i first moved to Copenhagen i wanted to become a scenographer/set designer. I had written a big school paper on one of Jokum Rohdes plays and wrote him asking basically for a job -he offered me to work as an assistant to the scenographer, Maja Ravn, on his next play. It was an incredible experience -especially as a 19 year old girl who had just moved far from home. My whole family has a special relationship with the plays of Jokum Rohde and the dark, mystical and highly humorous worlds he creates, so i was really exited to go see this new play of his! Furthermore it was the scenographer that i worked for back then who had designed the set for this play as well. And it was such a joy! All the acting performances were brilliant, the play was clever and griping and beautiful and the set design too was effective, elegant and beautiful! fantastic. After the play we ate at the in-house restaurant and had a delicious three course meal. Ahhh.. what an evening. (pictures from the play taken from skuespilhus.dk)
> Claudia: Thank you so much for your comment. im glad you like it!
> Bettina: Men når bare man kan blive gammel med så meget stil som de damer, så går det nok!
> Maria: I found another photo proof -two means its proven! i will show you later
> Lisen: i read other style blogs, but this one is by far the best!
> Kathrine: Tak, jeg håber blot at jeg kan blive så cool som gammel :)
> Emma: I had not been to Skuespilhuset before i went with my parents, and its such a beautiful spot in copenhagen! i bang my self in the head for not going sooner.
> Luyi: Thank you so much for that comment! it makes me very happy!
Sunday

advanced style
im so loving this blog! please go love it too!
> Lisen: You too! the fish was really scary! and the weather was like summer -except that the wind was strong enough to knock you over
> Louise: :) im so happy that you can't get enough of him! sometimes i worry that i show too many R-pics! but he really really is a stunner! i can't help my self!
Ruf-man
oh yeah -on my birthday walk we finally got photo proof of what we have known all along: Rufus has superpowers! he can actually fly!
Friday
birthday walk
more photographs from my birthday walk with my man and my dog. it was really the best birthday weather! The fish was so big and dead! Rufus was interested but did not get closer than in this picture! In the second picture you see Rufus trying to cheat us; He knows we don't want him drinking the sea water so every now and again he will hurry into the water - take a sip - and HURRY back -and when Rufus hurries -its fast!
> Emma: Yeah its almost as if it was made for me :)
> Hanna: Haha -everyday your eyes should have a shot of bright colours!
> Karin: Thank you! i can't wait till you create a whole new birthday soon :)
> Maikki: Thanks! I have been dreaming of my birthday meal for two nights now! i want it all again!
> Lynn & Horst: Indeed!
> melroska: Totally!
(young) blood is the new black
this work by Matt W Moore/MWM graphics is just perfect. i might steal the slogan..
> Kaela Noel + Carolina + mieke & willems: A traditional Danish birthday cake is one of the best things ever -this one was just my improvisation on it: my three favourite dessert things: Chocolate mousse + brownies + raspberries. The Chocolate mousse is whipped cream mixed with melted chocolate+pasteurised eg-yolks+a cup of strong coffee. The raspberry cream is made by blending raspberries + sugar - heating it up - mixing in chopped chocolate and butter as i cools. -I'll give you the brownies recipe another day!
> Joanne: Thank you! one day is hardly late for birthday wishes -especially in the blog-world! its so nice to stretch your birthday to Many days!
> Lisen: It is almost scary -all the chocolate! you can eat like one piece and then you are full!
> Maria: Thank you!! its so funny to find out how old people you know through your blog are! sometimes you get hints, but other times you can be really surprised! i think i had your age pretty right in my head :)
Thursday
sweet birthday!
As i said i had the most lovely birthday -getting breakfast in bed, fabulous gifts, taking a looong walk on the beach in the fantastic sunshine and having good friends over for a fantastic meal (i say so my self even though i was the cook :). I made red wine marinaded lamb with with all sorts of great stuff such as couscous salat with baked roots of different kinds, baked cherry tomatoes, homemade pesto and humus, olive/parmasan/rocket salat AND of course a giant cake! with chocolate mousse, raspberry/blueberry cream and a layer of brownies!! mmmm...
> Maria: Yes it is my friend Jette who made this lovely beetrootsoup with lots of ginger! delicious!
> Niller: :)
> Joanne: The sign is in Danish, but swedish and danish are sort of similar. i study in sweden right now, but still live in denmark cus it only takes 30-40 min. to malmö. Lund is supposed to be a really good university and i really like the city aswell! Im so glad that you like the Oh. project! i haven't had time work on it as much as i would like -spreading the word, but the other day a mistake dropped in my inbox and i was so happy! so everybody! send me those mistakes over at oh!
> Kaela: Yes beetroot soup is the perfect soup for fall!! also carrot soup! mm..
> Sandra: Thank you! You were so fast! -i guess thats facebook :)
> Shell: Thank you so much. im so glad you liked it!
> Emma: TAK! Its so funny that grattis is happy birthday in swedish when it means for free in danish! -Oh and when is your birthday?? when i woke up yesterday i did not like 25 but by the time i went to bed i liked it alot!
> Hanna: Tak! im still eating cake!
> Anne: Thank you! birthday is the best times!

> Lisen: Tak -multimedia-tak! lots and lots of cake!
> Lea: JA, den eneste dag man kan take credit for vejret :)
> Famapa, Brinja, Kristi, Mieke, Veronic, : TAK -thank you!
> Infing: Im so happy you like it!
> July Star: the birthday dog was actually snagged from a google picture search!
> K: of course! one day you will get a place where you can do what ever you want! we still think about the fact that we have to sell this place at one point -so we don't paint the whole thing black and green or something -so im looking forward to when we get a place that we will keep "for ever".
> pamplemousse: Happy birthday to you!! how funny!
thank you
good morning all! thank you so much for all your congratulations! i had such a lovely day with relaxation and goood food! i will share more later! and get back to the replies! now lets see what 25 feels like...

signs
some signs make better sense describing a state of mind than the physical world they were meant for, you know what i mean? (the sign says "entrance") all food should have as beautiful colours as this!
> Sandra: Im so happy that you like it! it is a really cosy place!
> Emma: you are too sweet! but thank you! imagine if i posted all these photos of my home and then you all hated it :)
> Famapa: Thanks! now i can't get the image of my kitchen as a person out of my head.. is it a man or a woman?
> Hanna: ha ha -i know! all the colours help alot in keeping it from being too IKEA
> Maria: You should come visit :) -you should all come visit!
> Lisen: We like the poster very much too! we have to get it frame so it will last forever! Good to hear that S is better, though it sounds unbearable for here to stay inside! Home is the best thing in the world! home is where your heart is and where your dog is!
housetour part5 - goodbye - come again!
That was that! our little home! Thank you for visiting and saying so many kind things! I will tell you; my home is the most important place in the world to me and i love spending my time here!

> mieke willems: its bigger than anything we have lived in before - just wish it had one or two more rooms so we could stay here even longer -at some point three rooms will be to little
> Klatschmohn: Thank you! it started with just a couple of inspirational photos and family pictures and then it crew a life on its own!
