so, something huge is taking place right where i live and i haven't even mentioned it. the truth is, that these days i live a pretty sheltered life inside our apartment and my focus is not on the rest of the world and the future of this world. But yesterday Elinor and i stepped out of our shell for a short while and joined the giant climate demonstration -it walked right past our home, so there was no excuse not to show your support. It was a really impressive demonstration, over 2 kilometres long and for the most part full of song and dance and well, hope. Only the end of the demonstration turned a bit ugly and made the police step in. I stole the last photo of the people who where arrested from the newspaper i work for. Hope the politicians get their act together and do something.

nice demontration, should do one in each city of the world...
here in italy our actual government will start with nuclear plants within the next year
... no referendum has been made about, they just decided /
suppose we should organize something like this, but we have so many social and political troubles at the moment that our lives should be spent in a perpetuum demonstration :-|

ah, no wonder when i saw the clip on the news just earlier...i saw the bricked building and thought...ey that looks like the buildings with the Santa Claus that Mette put on her blog...as it turns out the demonstration was at where you live. small world, innit.

wow, that is crazy...that's awesome that you guys are doing something over there; I hope only the same will happen soon in the US (especially, with the amount of resources we use)!
