analogue
I have decided its time i try out some analogue photography. I have been thinking about it for a while and finally found this "suitcase" of goodies fairly cheep: An Olympys OM10 with four lenses and a flash. Actually i got a Minolta SRT100X with two lenses and a flash for free right after i bought the OM10. So now i got to do some film-shooting! its hard! getting used to the fact that you can't check the result and that you have to really choose your motives. But im really looking forward to seeing the results. It could be that non of them work.. i have no idea! Im hoping for a result as different as possible from digital. So some quirks will just be good.
Btw: I hope i will be able to blog pretty regularly from D's computer, while mine is away. I will, however, probably not be able to read and comment on all of your fantastic blogs, but i will try to steal some computer time from D. My parents will come for a visit this afternoon and the next two days will be filled with art, concerts, theatre and alot of talking! im gonna bring my cameras!
▶ Anne: Thanks, it will be good to have a little forced break from my normal computer-routine!
▶ Stride: Det er også ret hårdt. Jeg er meget knyttet til min -derfor tog jeg også ekstra langt væk, for at få den repareret det hurtigste sted!
▶ Steph: Nicely spottet! the first one is indeed from Malmö! -and that koala-video! awww.. i had already seen a picture of this and the video is sooo cute. it was much needed! I work for a newspaper making photo-slideshows for the web and have been going through so many horrific pictures. I hope you and your loved ones are safe.
▶ Ai: It will only be a half-way break -I can't keep quiet!!
▶ Fine Little Day: Thank you -its going to be good getting back into the habbit!

That looks like a big box of goodies :) I am also planning some analogue adventures so I am looking forwadr to seeing what you get up to. It is so strange not to be able to check what is happening after taking each picture isn't it!
that's a wonderful camera set. my first slr was the OM 10 and it was great.
wow nice find! got more than enough to start w/.
and i feel ya on the transition from digital to film...one of the things you get comfortable when shooting w/ digital is the convenience or being able to shoot and check. but w/ film, as you know, you have to wait till you process it...
I just dusted off my nikon f3...its been a while since i shot w/ it...but i look forward to getting back into it...
good luck! can't wait to see your results...
Hej Søde Mette
Giv ejeren af den lille pote nederst i billedet, en kæmpe knuser og et lille nys på snuden fra mig. Rigtig dejlig weekend til jer og håber snart min vej vil runde KBH. B
good for you! i bet you're gonna get hooked. nothing is better than analog!
the bag is amazing. i need to get a prettier bamerabag.
lucky lucky lucky you !!!!!!!
haha so funny little claws of you dog on the last one :)
Jeez, that kit makes me jealous of you! I can't wait to see what you do with it. You know, I find that analogue photos wind up beautiful even when they technically fail.
oh this camera looks amazing! can't wait to see some pictures it takes.
