Colman for ever

if you are even a little close to malmö today you should go visit my friend Cindy and her fantastic gallery Krets who are opening a richard colman show today! Colman might be my favourite artist and i was so looking forward to meeting him tonight! but sadly the baby is calling the shots here and is forcing us to stay home. the baby is all ready good at grabbing our attention with pains and aches -frankly it feels like somebody is piercing me with knitting needles!

▶ Thank you for all the sweet comments on the jellyfish post and so funny how many of you are doing the twin peaks thing too! We made the club because we were embarrassed that non of us had seen it before! I really like it -both the first season which is sort of classic crime-show and the second when it gets really scary and absurd and soapy! i love Cooper and i hate josie. we only have four episodes left... the pictures are from Jette and Nis' place -so its their chubby-tv -sadly our chubby-tv died recently so now we have got a skinny model too like everyone else!

twin peaks

We have a Twin Peaks club with two of our friends. We meet up almost every week, eat dinner together and watch two or three episodes. We are trying to get to the end of the series before the baby comes and sometimes i think im gonna go in to labour from horror... we will see how scary it will be tonight.

jellyfish

these are some cool red jellyfish me and rufus saw at the beach. i love how fuzzy they look. Its getting really cold here. im curling up in bed with candy and candles.

The baby will probably wait a couple of weeks, but really you never know! it could be today or it could be even longer.

Donna Wilson

Along with Luckyboysunday, Donna Wilson has created one of my favourite worlds of amazing softies! i love her quirky soft creatures and her beautiful blankets and pillows -her things can come live with me any time! A week ago i made a softie my self and only afterwards realized that it is a total rip-off of Donna Wilsons Stick the Snail! im sorry for the robbery!

new wall

this week i took down all the pictures on our big kitchen picture-wall and reorganised the whole thing! i have had some photos from the past years printed and also added Lisen's fantastic prints! im not completely done yet and im stretching the job out because i really like the work, getting all the photos and cutouts to fit together while mixing them up in a fun way.

gifts

two of the amazing gifts i got: Eley Kishimoto flash basket-shoes and a horse-sculpture by Pontus Kjerrman. I have been searching for the shoes for ever, but of course D was able to find them when i never could. They are just perfect! i also got a seletti water-bottle, some delicious chocolate and two things that my sister could not live with out her first year as a mother: a vitamin E cream and a record that is not made for babies but magically soothes them.

▶ April: im so split between enjoying my last weeks being pregnant and being really impatient!

b-day

oh what a day. i love birthdays! and its hard to not love birthdays when you have such amazing readers who send you so many sweet birthday wishes all day long! T H A N K you! Im in the habit of waking up around 4 in the morning these days and so D was so sweet and got up at five and made me breakfast in bed so i did not have to lie awake for many many hours. The rest of the day was spend doing just simply nothing! sleeping a bit, watching seinfeld and reading all of your sweet birthday wishes! perfect when you are very very pregnant. Then we went to dinner at Tony's! a big big hit! simple, inexpensive and de-li-cious Italien-styled food. It was too dark to photograph but the food was amazing and i was soo full when we left :) The day finished with birthday cake and a movie. I love birthday layer-cake and had made a delicious variant with raspberries, dark chocolate and chocolate mousse! y u m m y! we have been eating it ever since last night and the baby is getting sugar-chock! (you can see one of my presents in one of the pics! i will show you more tomorrow!)

todays my birthday! jubii. and it started like this. very early this morning with breakfast and presents in bed.

storm

Rufus and i took an incredibly beautiful and stormy walk at the beach the other day. The light was perfect and the windsurfs went faster than what seemed humanly possible, but the wind was so strong that it was hard to photograph and i had to shield Rufus from the blowing sand more than once. i love october. (notice how amazingly quiet Øresund can be in a storm!)

Lisen, Kurt & Kio

YaY! yesterday i showed you the superfine little october-typography by the talented Emma Adbåge and today its her evenly talented sister Lisen Adbåge's turn! I got a fantastic package from sweden with two incredibly colourful and beautiful prints from Lisens book about Kurt & Kio! im a little late but October is here! the best month of the year. October brings rain and wind and candlelight and my birthday and D's birthday and even more exiting this year: the babys due date! i have a sneaky feeling though that the baby will want its own birthdaymonth and will hold on until november... The first picture is from Emma Adbåge's blog. She made this lovely little october tribute the other day.
