Monday

last

This was the last time christmas looked just like it has all of my childhood. Every year in the same house, in the same rooms, the same sofa where you sit and wait for Santa to come with the presents. Even the tree looks like it always has. This summer my parents are moving, and maybe because home means so much to me -the physical place you call home- It is difficult for me to come to terms with loosing my childhood home. On the other hand. Next year we will celebrate Christmas in our home. It is going to be different, but I know a lot of traditions can and will be translated from the giant house where I grew up to the very small place I call home now.

Sunday

Thursday

cookie

This is pretty Christmasy - Elinor helped bake heart shaped cookies. ▶ Everyone: I knew you would appreciate that scarf :) I bought mine at what I think was a pop-up store in Malmö (Think it was at Davidhallsgatan). But it is from Lazy Oaf and you can get it here: http://www.lazyoaf.co.uk/

Wednesday

hot dogs!

When we were in Malmö a looong time ago I got myself a hotdog scarf! ▶ Tilda: You are too sweet
▶ Wsake: Yes! Im really happy with them -I actually would like more and make a little forest
▶ Emy: Glad to hear
▶ Mendruga: Thank you so much -Glad you like it here!
▶ Eloisa: You are right! Thanks for the link
▶ Katrine: Yeah I think they are very cool too - but I'm not sure Elinor cares how they look yet.

Tuesday

Christmas? What? Who?

I have almost not had any time for thoughts of Christmas -luckily it has not stressed me out and during the past two days I have done all my christmas shopping -and tomorrow our friends will come for Christmas-hang-out-and-eat-food-ect. The first picture is of my new advent-candle holders! well, three of them anyway -the fourth candle holder was sold out, so I bought a vase instead (its upside down in the picture). The two other photos are loveliness from the birthdays: Salt from Mallorca and crayons for Elinor. ▶ Everyone: Just wanted to let you know that you are all the best blogreaders in the world!

Sunday

Light, you know, at the end

I'm so close the light at the end of the tunnel that I can almost smell it! Soon it is just Family + Friends + Christmas ...for a very small week at least, then preparations for january exams begin :) Thank you so so much for your well wishes! Food poisoning was both bad timing and very very unpleasant. Almost scary. Yesterday I could finally drink coffee again! I finally had to cut my losses and postpone an exam. You can't do everything.

Thursday

life = mess

My life feels like one big mess right now. I had to hand in two exam projects wednesday and was already pressed for time when boom... tuesday I was hit by food poisoning! So crazy, I have never been knocked out like that! In a less than an hour I went from being stressed but working to being totally knocked out! With the help from my good friend Kristian, who I did one of the projects with, both exams were handed in - maybe not in perfect condition - but kind of a miracle that it happened at all! Now I am slowly feeling better and ready to finish the rest of my exams for.. MONDAY! Well that is, if I survive..

Monday

last birthday of the year

While our internet was down E and D had a birthday party! A day like that is maybe my favourite thing in the world! Our best friends and good food and just a whole day hanging out. Our friends brought the most beautiful gifts -like a special made pie for D & E -and an amazing homemade white rabbit and a koala! Thank you for being the best friends! Can't wait till you stop by again soon!

Thursday

hello internet -are you out there? What you gonna do this weekend when I am gonna be work day and night om my exams?

Tuesday

Joulukalenteri

I follow to Christmas calendars this december: The tv-calendar Nissebanden i Grønland from my childhood that I watch with Elinor -she likes the dogs, the snow and the 'Nisser' + Hanna Konola's Joulukalenteri that has become a fantastic internet-tradition for me! ▶ Riitta Sinikka: Thank you! lots of good stuff over there!
▶ Melly: !!
▶ Lina, trixi, Kaylovesvintage, allesistgut, Camille: I was so happy to find it -had to share
▶ J.: yeah, she is cool
▶ Gracia: Very well put! there is something illusive about them!
▶ Linda: Bladet på billet er et Kinesisk magasin 'Little Things' - havde besøg af en journalist der fra for lidt tid siden
▶ Lisen: Ja! du har ret!

Studying too much these days to have any real words to share -but luckily most pictures talk for themselves. These are from a visit from London and from Elinor's birthday
