I had to get a new phone because the sound stopped working on the old one. And that meant that i, for the first time ever, transferred all photos, i had taken on the old phone to my computer. I will make a couple of photo-series out of them in the next week. I love my Olympus camera dearly, but sometimes its funny to use a really bad digital camera to get a different style.

collage

As I promised yesterday to some of my dear readers, i will now tell you the secret behind the huge collage: It actually came about quite randomly, so its nothing fancy. I was simply editing a set on flicker in the organizer and realized that before me was a cool collage -i arranged the photos randomly and took a screen shot! (on mac its cmd+shift+3) Then i cropped the photo in photoshop so nothing but the photo grid was left! simple! -well almost, because my screen only shows five rows in the organizer, so i did this over and over again until i had gotten them all! go do it! This is a food collage.

▶ Maria: Thank you so much! i think it is so funny that somebody can find my recipes interesting, because i have never thought of my self as a good cook! but i do know what i like and how!

tired floating

-if you are ever feeling a little low, i recommend a blog-birthday! wow. im so overwhelmed by all of your sweet and wonderful comments that i could float -except that im not floating, but instead very, very tired from a looong day with a final exam! you are the best! all of you!

i can't believe its only been one year and i can't wait to blog another year!

So. How to celebrate....? Well i decided on a bloggers favourite: The Blog-Birthday-Give-Away! ▶ Lisen: We just realised from all your sweet comments that the floors are perfect as they are -for now at least! i have never tried a red pesto -but now i definitely will!
▶ Brinja: What a good tip! im too cheap to buy pine nuts, so home made pesto is really a luxury!
▶ Emma: I think first on some pasta and then definitely on a pizza -thats one of the best things ever! i love parmasan (i want to call it that too, but my computer says its called parmigiana in english..). It can save any dish!
▶ Niller: :) Ja, jeg så godt at der ikke var hvidløg på det første billede, men det er både med i pestoen og opskriften -og ellers ved jeg hvor jeg kan skaffe det!
▶ M: I would love to, but its not very postable :) I have no idea how long it will keep, cus we will always eat it with in days! but im guessing it can keep quite a while in the fridge!
▶ Alice: I will let D know! he is a real collector, so it does not take him long to build a huge collection of anything!
▶ Brita: Yeah! tell those snails to stop! i like it much better with the different sizes the if you use a food-processor!

♥ Ungt ♥ Blod's ♥ home♥ made ♥ pesto ♥ guide ♥

i hate store-bought pesto (okay, hate might be a strong word), but i L O V E home made pesto. So here is Ungt Blod's home made pesto guide: ♥ take the following ingredients: Pine nuts, parmigiana, (3 cloves) garlic, (a big handful) basil and olive oil ♥ Start chopping the garlic ♥ gradually ad some basil and some pine nuts ♥ then some coarsely graded parmigiana ♥ then more pine nuts ♥ then some olive oil ♥ and so on and so on until you have used it all! ♥ The trick is that some of the ingredients gets chopped very fine and some very coarse and this gives the pesto the best structure ever! ♥ yum -now put it on pasta, home made pizza, sandwiches or a salad! ...if only pine nuts were not so expensive...

▶ m: The beautiful vinyl-collection is all D's work. but i like having it around, even if it takes up a lot of space!
▶ Emma: Totally fresh and new! he got it for christmas! i remember having a blue and purple one as a kid (what a strange colourcombo!) and i had written and drawn all over it.
▶ Sammyrose: Yeah they are a really good solution. We inherited them from my father aunt and we are running out of space now.
▶ Mascha: Hej! hyggeligt at høre fra dig! -og fantastisk at du kan lide min blog! Jeg bruger for det meste et Olympus e510, som jeg fik i sommers, men engang imellem bruger jeg dog også mit lille samsung nv8 som er et rigtig godt kompakt digi-kamera!
▶ Fenke: I have got to get my self an espresso-cup -but im also pining for the egg-cup even though i do not eat eggs!! i just love his big hat!

the cool blue fjäll räven is D's. I just woke up from a nap and can't really get my head or my words together. happy weekend to everybody!

▶ Lisen: Thank you! its exiting. -and yes its crazy how many people are actually up at that time! though i do have the bike-paths pretty much to my self! One of the jobs i can do from home, but even so i do not see rufus at that hour! he can sleep till almost noon. -The porcelain is so cute and would co really well with our cups with faces on.
▶ Famapa: Yeah you can always use a job or two -and especially in these crisis times :) i think i like that i have to get up early, because i was beginning to think 8-9ish was really really early :)
▶ Little nutbrown hare: Thank you for finding out so quickly! When i googled it, i just saw the "Thomas" that came up first and thought "no that can't be them at all" :)
▶ Emma: Ahh Emma, you should get some of the credit! those little hares can be so quick!! I did not buy any because i don't really have the money for cute things like that, but i would really like two espresso cups from the series!
▶ Aixx: Thanks Ai -it feels good to have a Japanese saying to get me out of bed when it is too difficult! And thanks for the photo-facts! i love your photography!
▶ Veja Cecilia: as i remember they were appr. 125 DKK for a cup with saucer. thats like 22 USD -or 180 SEK these days.

help - U P D A T E D

does any of you know who made these amazing little porcelain things? i found them in a shop and they made me so happy so i asked who made them, and the women looked under them and said "Thomas". The shop was really busy so i did not want to ask any more questions, but i don't think Thomas is the correct name -or maybe not the full name? if anybody know please tell me!
