rufus and elinor


She is one week old today. to think that one week ago we didn't know her. crazy. thank you, thank you again for all your amazing comments! you are the best and make my heart melt!
and for all of you wondering, rufus is doing great! amazing actually! he is so quiet around her and just sniffs her once in a while. When she cries he goes into his cave for some alone time and i think he might be a little overwhelmed, but thats understandable. He seems to know that she is sticking around -and of course rufus is not allowed in the bed after she has arrived, but even sweet whippets break the law (sorry for the bad phone-quality photo, but you gotta be quick to catch a moment like that)

    I wonder if he remember being a puppy... :) My firend's whippet had puppys this spring and when summer came she (the human) got her own first baby. Her whippet was kind of helping her...it was like that she already knew how it felt to become a mom. So sweet!

    Jag tror både rufus och elinor bara ligger o vännntar på att hon ska bli liiite större så de kan leka! :) Måste va fint att få ha en egen hund-brorsa!

    I hope that he will like her, but worldwide experiences are not so good. Because dogs are always the second ones and they are not happy about that then. Hope that it will be still good with Rufus in your home.

    Vad vackra de är.
    Min barndoms hund hjälpte till och uppfostrade mig. Om jag var en bråkig bebi lyfte han upp mig och bar mig till spjälsängen. Det hjälpte inte hur stor jag än blev, för honom var jag alltid en valp.
