i have to get started on showing you D's birthday presents! there were so many good ones it will take several days! and i will start with one of my absolute favourites! if you looked in on my housetour some weeks ago, you will probably know that my father, besides looking like a cross between Barack Obama and Sean Connery and being the priest who married us this summer, also paints beautiful paintings! and he gave D this haunting portrait of Marilyn Monroe that he painted! wow! its suits us so perfectly!
